"Solo Leveling: Arise Hits 60M Users, Launches New Events"
The mobile game Solo Leveling: Arise, inspired by the popular webtoon, has reached a significant milestone with over 60 million users. This achievement, accomplished in just over 10 months, showcases the game's immense popularity among fans of the original anime and manhwa, as well as newcomers to the franchise.
To celebrate this milestone, Netmarble is offering players a chance to log in and receive free Essence Stones. By logging in until March 28th, players can claim 1,000 Essence Stones daily, accumulating up to a total of 10,000. If you miss this initial window, don't worry—there will be additional opportunities to earn the full 10,000 Essence Stones until May 8th, coinciding with the game's release anniversary.
While Solo Leveling: Arise may not have the largest set of milestones, its rapid growth in popularity is noteworthy, especially in the current mobile gaming market where even games based on traditionally popular franchises are struggling. For instance, Star Wars: Hunters, developed by Zynga and backed by one of the biggest film series, is set to close down less than a year after its launch. This raises questions about the relative popularity of manhwa and anime compared to conventional films, and whether niche products can achieve rapid growth.
Only time will tell how these trends will develop. In the meantime, if you're looking for other games to play, check out our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week.
