Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch

Get Ready for Sonic Mania! Sega unleashes a wave of exciting updates across its mobile Sonic games, perfectly timed with the imminent release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. From Apple Arcade's Sonic Dream Team to Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces on iOS and Android, these movie-inspired updates deliver fresh challenges and new characters.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a major boost on December 12th with a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This addition features three intense tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete these levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team welcomes Shadow as a playable character, equipped with his signature Chaos Control and Chaos Shift abilities. Unlock him by conquering Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost enhance gameplay for all characters, while exclusive upgrades, including Double Chaos Shift, amplify Shadow's potential. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks, plus a revamped tutorial, round out this impressive update.

Sonic Dash's update arrives on December 20th, allowing you to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer extra rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will follow suit in January with its own Shadow-themed enhancements.
