Sony Releases PS5 and PS4 Updates: Key Features Revealed
Sony has rolled out new updates for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, enhancing user experience across various facets of these consoles.
The latest PS5 update, version 25.02-11.00.00, is a 1.3GB download that brings several improvements. One of the key enhancements is the way activities are displayed; now, activity details are fully shown on cards, with potential spoilers cleverly hidden to maintain the excitement of your gameplay. Additionally, this update introduces support for Unicode 16.0 emojis, allowing you to express yourself more vividly in your messages. There have also been adjustments to parental controls. Setting the restriction level to Late Teens or Older will now automatically default the Communication and User-Generated Content to Restrict. However, if you've already set this level, your previous settings will remain unchanged and be displayed as Customize. As always, Sony has focused on enhancing the system software's performance and stability, alongside improving messages and usability on various screens.
