Squad Busters Ends Win Streaks, Offers Exclusive Emotes

Squad Busters is set to undergo significant changes soon, with the most notable being the elimination of Win Streaks. This means players will no longer be able to climb the endless ladder of consecutive wins to earn extra rewards. Alongside this change, several other updates are on the horizon.

Why Is It Ending and When?

The decision to end Win Streaks in Squad Busters stems from the feature causing more stress than enjoyment for many players. Instead of feeling like legends, the pressure to maintain streaks was becoming a source of frustration.

The removal of Win Streaks will take effect starting December 16th. However, your highest streak will remain on your profile as a legacy achievement, allowing you to showcase your past accomplishments. To soften the blow of this change, Squad Busters is offering exclusive emotes to players who reach specific milestones before the cutoff date. These milestones include 0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins.

Regarding the Coins spent on Win Streaks, unfortunately, there will be no refunds. The developers argue that Coins are crucial for obtaining more babies from Reward Chests, and refunding them could disrupt the game's balance, particularly between free-to-play players and those who spend real money.

As expected, the community has mixed feelings about this change. Some players welcome the move away from a pay-to-win model, while others are skeptical, especially given the perceived inadequacy of the farewell gifts.

In addition to the Win Streaks update, Squad Busters is currently rolling out the Cyber Squad season. This new season is packed with numerous rewards and includes a free Solarpunk Heavy Skin. Players can jump into battles and explore everything Cyber Squad has to offer.
