What’s the game’s narrative? ----------------------------

Building on the legacy of the Dissidia Final Fantasy series, which united warriors from across Final Fantasy’s history, this new chapter features 3v3 team-based arena battles where two squads fight side by side against roaming monsters.

The story breaks from the series’ traditional fantasy roots, setting the action in modern-day Tokyo. A massive blue crystal suddenly appears in the city, becoming a routine part of daily life—until a sinister force begins to corrupt it.

The corruption gives rise to terrifying creatures, throwing the city into chaos. Amid the turmoil, mysterious fighters appear, battling the monsters before vanishing without a trace. Locals begin calling them Ghosts, unsure if they’re heroes—or something far more alien.
