Star Wars Celebration brought thrilling news for fans, announcing the release of Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 on October 29, 2025. This highly anticipated volume will feature nine captivating short films crafted by various renowned Japanese anime studios, including Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (behind Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. These studios promise to deliver innovative and visually stunning additions to the Star Wars universe.

Adding to the excitement, it was revealed that three of these episodes will continue stories from previous volumes: Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema citrus Co.'s The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi. Fans of these narratives can look forward to seeing how these beloved tales evolve.

Speaking of The Ninth Jedi, writer and director Kenji Kamiyama shared at Star Wars Celebration that Kara's journey will extend into a new spin-off series. This series will not only continue Kara's story but also explore longer narratives within the expansive Star Wars: Visions universe. While specifics remain under wraps, we know that Kara will reunite with Juro in the upcoming 'Child of Hope' episode in Volume 3.
