After two years of trying, streamer finished the impossible FromSoftware challenge

FromSoftware games are renowned for their formidable difficulty, a fact that streamer Kai Cenat highlighted when he died over a thousand times attempting to complete Elden Ring. This backdrop makes the accomplishments of players who undertake even greater challenges all the more awe-inspiring.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has achieved an extraordinary feat by becoming the first person in the world to successfully complete the God Run 3 SL1 challenge. This daunting task involves completing seven FromSoftware games consecutively without leveling up or taking a single hit. Dinossindgeil dedicated nearly two years to this endeavor. The emotional peak came when he finally defeated the Soul of Cinder, the final boss in Dark Souls III, resulting in an outpouring of tears that showcased the depth of his relief and triumph.

The God Run 3 SL1 challenge is widely regarded as the most challenging within the FromSoftware community. It demands the completion of seven games in a row, with no level-ups allowed and zero damage taken. The rules are strict: a single hit forces the player to restart the entire run, regardless of their progress.

Dinossindgeil's journey was filled with numerous attempts. In the summer of 2024, his progress was halted by a bug in Dark Souls II, where an arrow inexplicably clipped through a wall. At that point, he had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I, but the rules left him no choice but to start over from the beginning.

It will be fascinating to see how FromSoftware responds to this monumental achievement. What is clear, however, is that Dinossindgeil has cemented his place in gaming history with this unparalleled display of skill and perseverance.
