Street Fighter 6 presented Mai Shiranui gameplay trailer

Three legendary female fighters immediately spring to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While Street Fighter x Tekken featured a clash between Nina and Chun-Li, a rematch isn't on the horizon.

However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 changes things. Her gameplay trailer cleverly pits her against Chun-Li, a deliberate choice by the developers.

Mai's signature moves are all present, her Super looks spectacular, and she's poised to become a fan favorite in Street Fighter 6. Sadly, Capcom's announcement pushes her release date to February 5th, a three-week delay from the initial January expectation.

The wait is extended, but hopefully, the Street Fighter 6 team will keep us engaged with additional content in the meantime.
