Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level

The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the world's best players are set, let's analyze their character choices, offering a glimpse into Street Fighter 6's competitive landscape.

Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used characters at the highest level of play. This data provides a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, yet from nearly two hundred participants (including eight regional finalists from 24 regions), only one player opted for Ryu. Even the recent addition, Terry Bogard, was chosen by only two players.

Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each selected as the primary character by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each) forming the next tier. Among the less frequently chosen characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected by seven players.

Capcom Cup 11 is scheduled for March in Tokyo, with a $1 million prize awaiting the champion.
