Supergaming's Indus Breaks 11 Million Pre-Registrations, Unveils 4v4 Deathmatch

by Peyton Feb 10,2025

Indus, India's homegrown battle royale game, introduces a thrilling new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This exciting addition comes alongside another significant achievement: Indus has surpassed 11 million pre-registrations!

However, a full release date remains elusive, with the game currently in closed beta. Players participating in the beta can look forward to enhanced audio, thanks to recent improvements in sound effects and music.

Indus is designed specifically for the Indian gaming market. It features standard battle royale elements, plus innovative additions such as a Grudge system that rewards players for engaging in intense rivalries.

Initially announced in 2022, Indus has undergone several beta phases, steadily adding features and attracting a growing player base. The impressive pre-registration numbers reflect the burgeoning mobile gaming market in India.

While the 11 million pre-registrations are a significant accomplishment, the growth rate has somewhat plateaued since March when the game hit 10 million. While an additional million is substantial, it's not the explosive growth seen earlier.

We eagerly anticipate Indus's public launch. While new features are always appreciated, the previously speculated late 2023 release didn't materialize. Here's hoping 2024 brings a full release or at least a public beta.
