Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has unveiled an exciting new quest with their latest Dev's Diary for April, introducing "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This thrilling adventure is available from today until April 28th, challenging players to navigate the perilous Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert alongside Leela and Ozan.

Here’s the Full Scoop on Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of collapse following Osman's shocking betrayal of his own people. The city is fracturing, its residents divided, and the ominous presence of Amascut lurking in the shadows adds to the tension. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is merely the start of the trials ahead.

But fear not, you won't be tackling this alone. Leela and a host of new allies, including some adorable pets, will join you on this journey. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel the mystery behind Osman's true intentions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with its rewards. Players can look forward to earning Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet enhances your gameplay by allowing teleportation across all Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, embarking on this quest is not for the faint-hearted or the unprepared. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the "Beneath Scabaras' Sands" quest, and certain achievements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have built the necessary structures in the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside Menaphos' gates and begin the mission to save the city. So, if you're up for the challenge, download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and embark on your "Return to the Desert" adventure!
