TF2 Comic Concludes with Smissmas Finale

by Violet Feb 08,2025

A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.

Entitled "The Days Have Worn Away," this is the seventh numbered issue and the 29th overall, including special event and themed comics. The last TF2 comic was released in 2017, making this a seven-year wait for fans.

Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy delay, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that unlike the tower's builders, TF2 players only had to wait "a mere" seven years.

This new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the storyline, and there are strong indications that it will be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X mentioning "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic" hints at this. While the wait was long, players can now enjoy a satisfying ending and a dose of festive cheer.
