"Thousands to Test New Battlefield Features"

by Ethan Apr 19,2025

EA has unveiled an exciting new tool called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic Battlefield series. The developers have given fans a sneak peek with a brief clip of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version, stirring up anticipation among the community.

Within Battlefield Labs, a select group of invited players will have the unique opportunity to experience and test core mechanics and innovative concepts. It's important to note that not all tested features are guaranteed to appear in the final game. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before diving into various gameplay elements. The initial testing will include popular modes such as Conquest and Breakthrough, with a primary focus on combat dynamics and the game's renowned destruction system. Subsequent phases will shift towards fine-tuning balance.

Pre-registration for Battlefield Labs is now open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series platforms. EA plans to extend invitations to a few thousand players in the coming weeks, with intentions to broaden the participant pool to additional regions as development progresses.
