Top 10 Worst Video Game Movies Ever
The video game movie genre is notorious for producing more than its fair share of flops. Classics like the 1993's Super Mario Bros. and 1997's Mortal Kombat: Annihilation have become infamous for their poor quality and for missing the mark on what made the original games so beloved. Fortunately, recent years have seen some improvement with films like the Sonic the Hedgehog series and The Super Mario Bros. Movie leading the way. However, not all attempts have been successful, with movies like Borderlands continuing to disappoint.
Hollywood's persistence in adapting video games into movies is commendable, but it's challenging to do worse than some of the truly abysmal adaptations that have hit the screens over the years.
