How Doctor Doom 2099 Works in Marvel Snap

Doctor Doom 2099 is a 4-cost, 2-power card with a unique ability: After each turn, if you played exactly one card, a DoomBot 2099 is added to a random location. These DoomBot 2099s (also 4-cost, 2-power) provide an ongoing +1 power buff to other DoomBots and Doctor Doom himself, including the classic version.

The strategy revolves around playing one card per turn to maximize DoomBot 2099 deployment. This can yield a significant power boost, potentially transforming Doom 2099 into a 17-power card or more, especially if played early or combined with cards like Magik.

However, there are drawbacks. The random placement of DoomBots can hinder your strategy, and Enchantress completely negates their power boost.

Best Doctor Doom 2099 Decks in Marvel Snap

Doctor Doom 2099's single-card-per-turn requirement makes him a strong fit for Spectrum-style ongoing decks. Here are two examples:
