Top Nintendo Franchise for LEGO Set in 2025 Revealed

Nintendo and LEGO have already delighted fans with some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets. Last year, we were treated to the dynamic Mario and Yoshi set that brings characters to life with movement, and the inaugural LEGO Legend of Zelda set. While these sets are impressive, the variety has mostly been limited to the Mario universe (including Donkey Kong) and a selection of Animal Crossing sets. As an avid fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I'm eager to explore more of Nintendo's iconic franchises through LEGO.

With a wide array of Nintendo's beloved series waiting to be transformed into LEGO sets, the question arises: which franchise should receive the LEGO treatment next? The possibilities are endless and exciting.

With the announcement of the Switch 2, excitement for Nintendo's future is at an all-time high. Given the company's ongoing investment in movies, such as the new Mario movie and the forthcoming live-action Zelda, and the upcoming Switch games, it's likely that we'll see more LEGO Nintendo sets in the future. Personally, I believe Metroid would be a fantastic candidate for LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it presents a perfect opportunity for LEGO to create some truly remarkable builds. I'd be more than eager to purchase these sets. Additionally, I'd love to see actual LEGO Pokémon sets, though I understand this might be challenging due to the existing licensing agreement between Mattel and The Pokémon Company.
