What Types of Hideouts Exist?
Upon unlocking your first Hideout, you'll start with one type of personal base. To expand your collection, you'll need to dive back into the Atlas of Worlds and hunt for new maps with Hideouts. Collect all available types, and you'll have the following options to choose from:
- Felled
- Limestone
- Shrine
- Canal
To switch between these types, engage with NPC Alva and select the appropriate option from the menu.
Hideout Customization
Path of Exile 2 encourages creativity with its robust Hideout customization options. You're not just arranging furniture; you're crafting a masterpiece. Players can freely place, rotate, and move objects and NPCs, add new decorations, and even swap out old ones. For those inspired by others, there's the option to import designs from fellow players or export your own to showcase your creativity.
Functionality shouldn't be overlooked amidst the aesthetic appeal. Strategically place key NPCs like Doryani for item identification, Ketzuli for disenchanting, and Alva for currency exchange near the entrance for efficiency. Don't forget to set up Stashes and a Waypoint to streamline your gameplay experience. While optimizing for efficiency, remember that your Hideout's design is also a statement; other players may visit and admire your handiwork.
