Viking Survival Game Arrives: 'Vinland Tales'

Colossi Games has released a new Android survival game, Vinland Tales: Viking Survival. This follows their successful releases of other survival titles, including Daisho: Survival of a Samurai and Gladiators: Survival in Rome.

Plot Overview: Shipwrecked and Leading a Clan

The game begins with your Viking longship encountering unforeseen land after sailing from Iceland. As a survivor and clan leader, your task is to establish a thriving Viking colony. Vinland Tales blends action RPG elements, encompassing combat, crafting, and base building.

Classic survival mechanics are present: chopping wood, mining, and hunting. Gameplay involves exploration, combat, and conquest. Initial objectives focus on establishing a camp, subsequently developing a full-fledged Viking village. Rescued clansmen will join, requiring housing, defensive structures, and resource management.

Crafting plays a significant role, encompassing food, potions, and workstations (hunting cabins, sawmills, smelters, etc.).

A Vast and Challenging World

Vinland presents a harsh environment with icy landscapes, swamps, and dangerous forests. The narrative incorporates Leif Erikson's story, raiding opportunities, and the construction of temples dedicated to Thor and Odin.

A robust crafting system allows the creation and upgrading of weapons (spears, bows, etc.) to combat Ragnarok-level enemies and bandit bosses. Further engagement includes quests, skill trees, achievements, and clan-based PvP leaderboards.
