Wang Yue, The Open World ARPG Is Stepping Out Of The Shadows As Testing Phase Nears

Wang Yue, an upcoming fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical testing phase following the recent acquisition of its publication license in China. This initial test run will allow a select group of players to experience the game firsthand, identify bugs, and provide valuable feedback on gameplay mechanics.

A Fractured World

Wang Yue's technical test presents a captivating narrative set against a backdrop of planetary devastation. A cataclysmic event has fractured the world, leaving two distinct continents adrift in a bizarre gravitational anomaly. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, hangs precariously in the sky above a ruined landscape. Players assume the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious protagonist thrust into this chaotic new reality after a betrayal. Qing Wu must unravel the mysteries surrounding the now-revered sun, the upside-down city, and the shadowy figures intent on their demise.

Player Agency and Dynamic Interaction

Wang Yue departs from conventional open-world game design, eschewing repetitive quests and mindless combat. Exploration and player choice are paramount. Players are free to explore the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below. The game world responds dynamically to player actions, with NPCs reacting realistically to player behavior – from calling the authorities for disruptive actions to expressing gratitude for assistance.

Community Engagement

The developers actively seek player feedback, promising discussions, design contests, and other community events to facilitate communication and game improvement. Registration for the technical test is currently open on the official website.
