Gaijin Entertainment has just announced the upcoming Firebirds update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a host of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, significantly expanding the game's content.

New Aircraft Soar into War Thunder

The Firebirds update boasts a selection of iconic military aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117 Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.

The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder, introducing stealth technology to the game. Its unique design, featuring hard edges and radar-absorbing materials, makes it incredibly difficult to detect. Its performance in real-life Operation Desert Storm, completing over 1,200 sorties without loss, speaks volumes about its capabilities.

The F-15E Strike Eagle, an enhanced F-15 variant, brings overwhelming firepower. Its significantly increased payload capacity, coupled with advanced targeting systems including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!), solidifies its position as a formidable strike aircraft.

The current Aces High season continues, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through season completion and the Battle Pass. These include aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with formidable ground units such as the T54E2 and G6, and ships like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
