World of Warcraft's Feast of Winter Veil: A Lore-Filled Holiday Celebration

The annual World of Warcraft Feast of Winter Veil, a festive event mirroring Christmas, returns with fresh rewards and collectibles. A new lore video, a collaboration with PlatinumWoW, delves into the rich history of this beloved in-game holiday.

This engaging video explores the holiday's origins, weaving together Dwarven myths of Greatfather Winter (a Titan-forged giant), Tauren traditions of spiritual renewal, and the modern-day commercialization by the Goblin-run Smokeywood Pastures.

The video also highlights the infamous Metzen the Reindeer, named after Chris Metzen, and its hilarious history of repeated kidnappings – by pirates, Dark Iron Dwarves, and even the Grinch! The video concludes with a humorous thank you from Metzen, voiced in Thrall's iconic voice (also voiced by Metzen).

A Continuing Collaboration

This isn't PlatinumWoW's first collaboration with Blizzard. Previous videos have covered diverse topics, including Nerubians, Vrykul, the Scourge, World Trees, and Blackrock Depths.
