Digital Extremes' Warframe already boasts a rich and complex storyline, and Warframe: 1999 only deepens the mystery. This expansion focuses on the Protoframes, a group of humans who appear to be the precursors to the Warframes we know. Their pursuit of the enigmatic Dr. Entrati and their conflict with the terrifying Techrot infestation have kept the Warframe community buzzing with speculation.
