Warframe: 1999\'s Techrot Encore update sees you taking On-Lyne Off-Lyne, coming soon

Warframe: 1999's Y2K-infused action gets a major boost this March with the Techrot Encore update. This exciting update, revealed during a Digital Extremes devstream, introduces the 60th Warframe, Temple, along with four new Protoframes and a host of other additions. Get ready to face some familiar foes in a new way!

Techrot Encore introduces the Technocyte Coda, a new Lich adversary—the boy band On-Lyne, previously featured in the game's ARG. These once-harmless pop stars have undergone a dramatic transformation, trading their microphones for weapons.

Fortunately, you'll be well-equipped to handle this new threat. Four new Scaldra weapons offer diverse combat options, whether you prefer blasting or slashing your way to victory. The update also includes refinements to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.

Warframe: 1999's unique turn-of-the-century aesthetic is undeniably charming, and the "boy-band-turned-cybernetic-monstrosities" enemies are a perfect example of its quirky style.

Before the March update arrives, there's plenty to keep you busy. Starting February 6th, the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast returns, alongside new skins and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering even more rewards.
