Wuxia Epic Where Winds Meet Set for Six-Month PS5 Exclusivity

Where Winds Meet, an open-world Wuxia action adventure from Everstone Studios, will launch as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for at least six months.

A new video on the PlayStation YouTube channel confirms this exclusivity (multiplatform trailer below). The teaser offers a glimpse into the game’s narrative and reveals that Where Winds Meet will be a PS5 console exclusive for "at least six months." It will also be available on mobile and PC.

No precise release date has been announced, only a broad "coming 2025" window. Publisher NetEase has scheduled a final test for July 25 on PC and PS5, introducing Kaifeng, a new urban area previously inaccessible. Interested players can sign up via the official registration link. Wishlisting is available now, though pre-order bonuses remain unannounced.

Initially launched on PC in China in late 2024, Where Winds Meet expanded to mobile in 2025. Set during the Ten Kingdoms Era amid warring dynasties, players embody a swordsman shaping the conflict through their choices. The game draws heavily from Wuxia, a Chinese fiction genre featuring martial artists with extraordinary abilities.

A Where Winds Meet preview from August 2023 showcased its blend of Zelda and The Witcher-inspired gameplay, highlighting a vast array of systems, decisions, and possibilities.

Sony aims to replicate the massive success of Black Myth Wukong, which hits Xbox Series X and S this August, following its 2024 debut on PC and PS5.
