Tech enthusiasts continue to explore potential screen adaptations of beloved franchises, with their sights now set on the Witcher series. A striking concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, crafted by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has recently emerged.

The video masterfully captures the aesthetic of 1980s cinema, leveraging the power of neural networks to bring the project to life. Familiar faces from the Witcher universe populate the trailer, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, and Priscilla, among others. While some stylistic liberties have been taken with their appearances, the characters remain readily identifiable.

Recently, the developers of Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of a previously cut Triss Merigold wedding scene. Originally planned for Novigrad, the "Ashen Marriage" quest would have seen Triss pursuing a relationship with Castello and seeking to marry him. Geralt's involvement would have included tasks such as ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift for Triss.

Interestingly, Triss's reaction would have varied depending on the gift Geralt chose. Less impressive gifts would receive a lukewarm response, while a memory rose—a callback to The Witcher 2—would have elicited a far more emotional reaction.
