Restoring Morph Paintings is a relatively simple process, rewarding players with valuable resources such as Astrites. This guide outlines the mechanics, locations, and solutions for these puzzles.

Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Restoration involves placing the correct paintings onto designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and utilize the Levitator tool to position the painting. The Levitator should equip automatically; otherwise, access it via Tab/D-Pad Left.

Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Resounding Rise (Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls), requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):

1. Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
2. Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
3. Move the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.

Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing progression through the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

Located within the "Trial of Wisdom" (part of the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle, Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings narratively from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.

A simple method to verify correct placement is to observe the painting frame; it illuminates upon successful placement. This shortcut streamlines puzzle completion.
