Xbox Cloud Gaming\'s beta now lets you play your own games, even outside the catalogue
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate expands cloud gaming capabilities, allowing users to stream games from their personal library, regardless of Game Pass catalogue inclusion. This significant update extends the cloud gaming beta to 28 countries and adds 50 new titles to the streaming options.
Previously, cloud gaming was limited to titles within the Game Pass catalogue. This change opens the service to a much wider range of games, including popular titles like Baldur's Gate 3, Space Marine 2, and others, playable on phones and tablets.
Expanding Cloud Gaming Horizons
This feature addresses a long-standing limitation of cloud gaming services – the restricted game selection. The ability to stream personally owned games significantly enhances accessibility and convenience. This development will also be crucial in assessing cloud gaming's competitiveness against established mobile gaming platforms.
For those new to console or PC streaming, comprehensive guides are available to assist with setup and configuration, enabling seamless gaming across various devices and locations.
