Yakuza / Like a Dragon Fans Choosing Upcoming Official Merch, From Cult Clothes, Traffic Cones, and More Bizarre Items

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series by letting fans vote on the next official merchandise items! A whopping 100 options are available, with the top two vote-getters promised for release within the next two years. The poll is currently only available in Japanese, but you can vote on the official website.

The choices range from the expected (like a 20th-anniversary hoodie or pencil case) to the utterly bizarre, drawing inspiration from the series' famously outlandish moments.

Some highlights include Munan Suzuki's cult outfit from Yakuza 0, Majima's infamous traffic cone hiding spot from Yakuza Kiwami, and the intriguingly named "Puffy Gold Pants." Other options span the series' history, featuring items like Majima's sake cup from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Akiyama's gold watch, Kiryu's fountain pen from Yakuza 6, Kashiwagi's tambourine from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Kiryu's wrestling mask from Yakuza 3, and Saejima's prison uniform from Yakuza 4.

2025 marks not only the 20th anniversary but also sees the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate of the Caribbean (sic, likely a typo for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth) on February 21st. While a second major release this year is unconfirmed, RGG Studio's history of rapid development – nine games in the last five years, including Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Judgment Remastered, Lost Judgment, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Like a Dragon Gaiden, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, plus two Super Monkey Ball games and a Virtua Fighter 5 remaster – makes it a distinct possibility.
