Actor Dylan Sprouse Revealed as Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Shadow Duelist
- The identity of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's third Shadow Duelist has been revealed as actor Dylan Sprouse.
- Sprouse was unveiled during the tournament finale, where he portrayed the antagonist Baron Bloodthorne.
- The tournament champion received a personalized, autographed mask as their prize.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! community transcends time, gender, and even national borders—and now, it's stepping into the world of celebrity. In the recent Shadow Duelist tournament finale, Baron Bloodthorne, the latest masked challenger in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, was unmasked as none other than acclaimed actor Dylan Sprouse.
Dylan and his twin brother Cole are widely known for starring in Disney Channel’s Suite Life sitcom series. Following their solo career pursuits, Dylan’s appearance as Baron Bloodthorne marks another notable role.
Much like his voice performance as the elven outcast Alith Anaar in Total War: Warhammer II, Dylan Sprouse challenged participants in the Shadow Duelist series with fierce duels. He joins a growing roster of celebrities who have adopted masks and alternate identities to compete against tournament winners.

Behind the Mask
The two previous Shadow Duelists were WWE star Xavier Woods and former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, each sporting unique masks. The tournament champion not only had the honor of unmasking Sprouse’s Baron Bloodthorne but also received the mask as a trophy, signed by the actor.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, a popular mobile and console adaptation of the internationally renowned trading card game, has gained widespread acclaim. The Shadow Duelist series, in particular, has become a fan-favorite feature in this multiplatform card battler, earning significant attention for its engaging format.
Yet, no Yu-Gi-Oh! experience is complete without one hallmark feature—and it's not Edison or Speed Duel, but the official ban list. If you're preparing to compete at a professional level in Master Duel, it's essential to stay updated with the latest restricted and forbidden cards.
