Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has exciting news for fans of Zenless Zone Zero with the announcement of the launch date for Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set for April 23rd. This update promises to tie up loose ends from Season 1, delivering a thrilling conclusion to the narrative arc.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will unveil the long-awaited resolution to the Sacrifice crisis. Players, or Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo’s fate following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to tackle the situation.

Together with Vivian, Proxies will venture into enemy territory to pursue the Sacrifice Core. Vivian’s past will collide with the present as she confronts former acquaintances, while the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, dealing significant Corruption damage when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, and his Totalize effect increases damage based on the remaining duration of an enemy's stun.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray, deploying cards with unpredictable effects. Returning characters include Jane, a Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, a Fire Stun Agent, both featured in the Version 1.7 banners.

Alongside the gripping storyline and new characters, Version 1.7 introduces engaging events such as 'Say It With Flowers.' In this event, players will manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and craft floral arrangements. Completing commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
