Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 'Among the Forgotten Ruins' Launching Soon

HoYoverse has just unveiled the exciting details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to bring chaos to New Eridu, offering a rich narrative and introducing new characters that will deepen the game's storyline.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this latest update, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, tasked with securing a mysterious artifact connected to the Sacrifice. The plot thickens as the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, aims to disrupt the Mayor's plans. Other factions also enter the fray, unwilling to let the Proxies walk away with the prize. Adding to the intrigue, characters Hugo and Vivian exhibit suspicious behavior, leaving players to ponder their true allegiances. To get a sneak peek at the action, check out the trailer below.

Version 1.6 also introduces new unit Anby Demara, formerly known as Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad. She steps into the spotlight as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, wielding dual swords to deal Electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, who joins as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks, take precise shots, and set up teammates for Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, as well as S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who will have their rerun banners. Additionally, the new boss, Geppetto, enters Hollow Zero, challenging players with his formidable presence.

The update also introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, designed to test players' skills to the limit. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, enhances battles with special effects such as increased damage based on accumulated coins. Trigger's TV Schedule brings third-person sniper gameplay into the mix, allowing players to undertake actual sniper missions. March On, Tiny Titan! offers unique challenges with a Bangboo drone, while Little Knight's Big Charge presents ten different trials to guide a Bangboo through, offering rewards like Pulchra as a playable agent.
