Meet Akuru Hayahoshi, an unlucky otaku office worker whose dreams of pulling her husbando from her favorite gacha game seem perpetually out of reach, no matter how many times she tries. Her luck takes a turn when she encounters Ren Furutachi, a dazzlingly beautiful and incredibly fortunate girl. A series of hilarious misunderstandings culminates in a proposal, and Ren embarks on a full-fledged pursuit of Akuru.

One twist leads to another, and in her quest to finally bring her husbando home, Akuru finds herself bringing Ren home instead! Now, they're sharing a house, and to the unsuspecting Akuru, Ren's cool demeanor and affection for women make her seem like an alien from another world.
