Hez2: A Thrilling Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a captivating card game popular in Morocco, perfect for family gatherings. This classic Moroccan game supports 1-4 players and features turn-based gameplay. On a player's turn, they must match either the suit or rank of the previously played card. If a player lacks a matching card, they draw one from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead. The goal is to be the first to empty your hand.

Special Cards:

• 2: Playing a two forces the next player to draw two cards. If they also hold a two, they can choose to draw two or play it, forcing the following player to draw four, and so on. This continues until a player without a two draws the cumulative number of twos played.

• 7: Playing a seven allows the player to change the required suit/color for the next card played.

• 10: Playing a ten requires the player to immediately play another card. If the ten is their last card, they must draw a card.

• 12: (3 or 4 players only) Playing a twelve skips the next player's turn.

The game concludes when a player plays their last card (with slight variations if the last card is a two or ten), and that player is declared the winner.

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

• 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
• 10 Espadas (Syouf)
• 10 Oros (D'hab)
• 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
