Codes Not Working? Here’s What You Might Be Missing
Expiration Alert:
Remember, redeem codes have an expiration date. Once that date passes, the code becomes invalid. Don’t delay—redeem it while it’s still active.
Attention to Detail:
These codes are case-sensitive, so ensure you type them exactly as provided, including proper capitalization and spacing. One wrong keystroke can render the code useless.
Limited Use:
Some codes are limited to a certain number of redemptions. If you wait too long, they might be gone before you know it. Use them wisely!
Regional Restrictions:
Keep in mind that some codes are region-specific. Verify compatibility before attempting to redeem to avoid disappointment.
Pro tip: For a smoother gaming experience, play Call of Duty: Mobile on a PC using BlueStacks. Enjoy crisp visuals, zero lag, and enhanced control with a keyboard and mouse.
The arrival of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 is timely yet complicated, arriving shortly after Nvidia’s latest release. Priced at $549, this card directly competes with the underwhelming GeForce RTX 5070. In this battle, AMD holds a clear advantage, making the Radeon RX 9070 a tempting choice for 1440p gaming.
However, the decision isn’t entirely straightforward. The RX 9070 is only $50 less than the superior Radeon RX 9070 XT, which makes the price difference feel less justifiable. Spending the extra $50 for the XT seems logical given its slightly better performance. Still, AMD enthusiasts have plenty to cheer about when choosing between these two options.
Purchasing Guide
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 debuts on March 6, starting at $549. Expect variations with higher prices, so aim for a model as close to the base price as possible to avoid paying a premium.

Specs and Features
Built on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture, the RX 9070 boasts significant performance gains. Despite having 30% fewer compute units than its predecessor, the RX 7900 GRE, it outperforms it significantly. The RX 9070 features 56 Compute Units, each with 64 Streaming Multiprocessors (SMs), totaling 3,584 shaders. Each compute unit includes one Ray Accelerator and two AI Accelerators, adding up to 56 and 112, respectively. These enhancements allow the RX 9070 to handle ray tracing effectively, with AI Accelerators enabling FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 4, marking AMD’s entry into AI upscaling.
Paired with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit bus, the RX 9070 matches the memory configuration of the RX 7900 GRE, ensuring smooth 1440p gaming. While adopting GDDR7 like Nvidia would have been ideal, it likely would have driven up costs.
AMD recommends a 550W PSU, but during testing, peak power consumption reached 249W. To stay safe, consider a 600W PSU. Note that AMD isn’t releasing a reference design this time, leaving third-party manufacturers to produce various iterations. I tested the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16G, a triple-slot card with a factory overclock.
FSR4
Since DLSS revolutionized AI upscaling, solutions like FSR 4 bring this capability to AMD GPUs for the first time. FSR 4 processes previous frames and in-game data through an AI model to upscale lower resolutions to native quality. Unlike FSR 3’s Temporal upscaling, FSR 4 tightens details with its AI algorithm, reducing artifacts like ghosting.
However, running an AI model incurs a slight performance hit. For example, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at 1440p with the Extreme preset, FSR 3 yields 165 fps, while FSR 4 drops it to 159. Similarly, in Monster Hunter Wilds at 4K with ray tracing enabled, FSR 4 reduces frame rates from 81 to 76 fps.
Fortunately, Adrenalin software offers a toggle to switch between FSR 4 and FSR 3. Single-player gamers will appreciate FSR 4 for better image quality, while competitive players might prefer FSR 3 for smoother performance.
Benchmarks
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 competes directly with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 at $549, outperforming it more often than not. At 1440p, the RX 9070 averages 12% faster than the RTX 5070 and a 22% improvement over the RX 7900 GRE. Its 30% fewer cores don’t hinder its performance significantly.
My Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC received a factory overclock, boosting its boost clock to approximately 2,700Mhz, a 7% increase over stock. This translates to a 4-5% performance gain.
Testing was conducted on public drivers: Nvidia’s Game Ready Driver 572.60 and AMD’s Adrenalin 24.12.1. Review drivers were used for the RX 9070, RX 9070 XT, and RTX 5070.
In 3DMark’s Speed Way test (ray tracing enabled), the RX 9070 scores 5,828 points, nearly matching the RTX 5070’s 5,845. However, in Steel Nomad (without ray tracing), the RX 9070 dominates with 6,050 to the RTX 5070’s 5,034—a 20% lead.
Test System:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero
- RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo @ 6,000MHz
- SSD: 4TB Samsung 990 Pro
- CPU Cooler: Asus ROG Ryujin III 360
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at 1440p with FSR 3 set to Balanced, the RX 9070 achieves 165 fps, surpassing the RTX 5070’s 131 fps and RX 7900 GRE’s 143 fps—a 26% and
