These enhancements allow the RX 9070 to handle ray tracing effectively, with AI Accelerators enabling FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 4, marking AMD’s entry into AI upscaling.

Paired with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit bus, the RX 9070 matches the memory configuration of the RX 7900 GRE, ensuring smooth 1440p gaming. While adopting GDDR7 like Nvidia would have been ideal, it likely would have driven up costs.
