The Kinetic Blade, a fan-favorite melee weapon from Chapter 4 Season 2, returns to Fortnite Battle Royale in Chapter 6 Season 1 (Fortnite Hunters). Players now have a choice between the Kinetic Blade and the new Typhoon Blade. This guide details how to find and effectively use the Kinetic Blade.

How to Find the Kinetic Blade

The Kinetic Blade appears as floor loot in both Battle Royale Build and Zero Build modes. It can also be found inside standard and Rare chests. Currently, its spawn rate is relatively low, and the absence of dedicated Kinetic Blade stands further reduces its availability.

How to Use the Kinetic Blade

The Kinetic Blade is a melee weapon offering swift movement and surprising attacks. Unlike the Typhoon Blade, which requires sprinting for speed, the Kinetic Blade utilizes a Dash Attack. This lunge attack inflicts 60 damage upon impact and can be chained up to three times before requiring a recharge.

Alternatively, the Knockback Slash deals 35 damage and sends opponents flying. This knockback can result in additional fall damage, potentially leading to an elimination.
