inZOI game director Hyungjun Kim recently revealed intriguing details about an upcoming Karma system, introducing a paranormal element to the realistic life simulation. This system will determine the fate of deceased Zois, transforming them into ghosts based on their accumulated Karma points.

High Karma Zois transition to the afterlife, while those with insufficient points linger as ghosts, tasked with accumulating enough Karma to move on. The specific actions required to increase Karma remain undisclosed, adding an element of mystery.

Kim assures players that ghost interactions will be carefully balanced to avoid overshadowing core gameplay, stating that, in the Early Access version, interactions will be limited to specific times and conditions. This suggests a carefully curated experience rather than a constant paranormal presence.
