Monster Hunter Reveal: Unique Weapon Designs for Every Hunter
Concerns about weapon design similarity in Monster Hunter: World have been addressed by Monster Hunter Wilds Director Yuya Tokuda. While World weapons shared a base design with variations based on monster materials, Tokuda confirmed that Wilds features uniquely designed weapons.
This directly contrasts with World's approach, where many weapon lines, even at their highest upgrade levels, retained significant visual similarities. The image below illustrates this, showcasing the resemblance between the final Aqua and Pukei-Pukei Sword and Shield, and the final Bone and Jyuratodus Long Swords.
In contrast, the slideshow below showcases the diverse and distinct designs of weapons seen in Monster Hunter Wilds so far, emphasizing their unique character.
