How to Play Dice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: All Badges & Scoring Combos
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Groschen doesn't grow on trees, especially early on. A surprisingly effective way to boost your funds is by gambling—specifically, playing dice. Here's your guide to mastering this lucrative pastime.
Where to Play Dice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The tutorial introduces the basics of dice, providing a solid foundation for your gambling adventures. Beyond that, you'll find dice games readily available at almost every inn and tavern throughout the game world. If you're ever unsure, simply head to the nearest town and look for an NPC near a tavern; they'll usually be happy to challenge you to a game.
How to Score in Dice
The objective is simple: outscore your opponent to reach the target score. Each game has a predetermined goal. You start with six dice and can re-roll as many times as you like during your turn. However, a roll yielding no scoring combination ends your turn, forfeiting all points accumulated that round. Strategic decision-making on when to stop rolling is crucial. Furthermore, you lose one die with each re-roll, making successful combinations progressively harder to achieve.
Here's the scoring breakdown:
Combination | Points |
---|---|
One | 100 |
Five | 50 |
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 | 500 |
2, 3, 4, 5, 6 | 750 |
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 | 1,500 |
Three 1s | 1,000 |
Three 2s | 200 |
Three 3s | 300 |
Three 4s | 400 |
Three 5s | 500 |
Three 6s | 600 |
For triples, additional matching dice double your score. For example, three 2s are worth 200, but four 2s are worth 400, five 2s are 800, and six 2s are a hefty 1,600.
Badges
As you progress, you'll discover Badges—found in chests or on corpses—that add a strategic layer to your dice games. These come in three tiers: Tin, Silver, and Gold.
