Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide
Playing games with friends can elevate the gaming experience to new heights. In *R.E.P.O.*, the challenging nature of the game means that even the strongest players can occasionally become the weak link. With formidable monsters lurking around every corner, squad members often find themselves needing to revive each other. Here’s a detailed guide on how to revive teammates in *R.E.P.O.* after they’ve been taken down.
What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.
In *R.E.P.O.*, each player starts a round with a full health bar at 100. You can lose health from monster attacks or even from your own items, like Human Grenades. To recover, you can utilize Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by simply walking up to another player and interacting with their health bar. This cooperative mechanic adds a unique layer to the game, promoting teamwork and strategic play.
Despite these health management options, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes overpower your squad. When a teammate falls, they leave behind a head which you can pick up. It's crucial to pay attention to where your ally dies or check the map, which marks the head's location with a small icon matching their character's color. Locating the head is just the beginning of the revival process.
Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.
Once you have your teammate's head in your inventory, head to the extraction point. Place the head on the point, and if you’ve met the round’s loot requirement (visible in the top right corner of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to regain some health, ensuring they're not a liability to the team. It's back to business as usual from there.
If retrieving the head proves impossible, there's another method to bring your teammates back: start a new round. Much like *Call of Duty* Zombies, *R.E.P.O.* is round-based, allowing fallen players to return at the start of a new round. This method, while less efficient as you'll be at reduced strength until then, can be beneficial, especially for newer players. It gives them a chance to observe and learn from more experienced players, avoiding immediate pressure in difficult situations.
This is how you can revive teammates in *R.E.P.O.*. For more insights, explore the role of Energy Crystals in the game and strategies to acquire more.
