"Valheim: Discover All Merchant Spots"
Quick Links
Valheim is a game that thrives on exploration and survival, as players venture into diverse biomes to gather resources and confront formidable bosses. The journey can be tough, especially in treacherous areas like the Swamp and Mountain, where a single misstep can lead to a swift demise. However, the game offers a respite through its merchants, who provide essential items to ease the challenges of Valheim's harsh world. At the time of writing, there are three merchants in the game, each situated in different biomes and offering unique goods. Locating them can be challenging due to the game's procedurally generated worlds, but here's how to find them and what they offer.
How To Find Haldor In Valheim (Black Forest Merchant)
Haldor, residing in the Black Forest, is one of the easier merchants to find. He spawns within a 1500m radius of the world's center, making him relatively accessible early in the game. You might find him near The Elder's spawn point, which can be located by exploring the glowing ruins in Burial Chambers. To streamline your search, consider using the Valheim World Generator created by wd40bomber7, which allows you to input your world seed and pinpoint trader locations. Once you locate Haldor, he will consistently appear at that spot, so it's wise to build a portal for easy access. Trading with him requires gold, which you can obtain by exploring dungeons and selling gems such as Rubies, Amber Pearls, and Silver Necklaces.

How To Find Hildir In Valheim (Meadows Merchant)
Hildir, found in the Meadows, is more elusive than her brother Haldor. Despite being in a safer biome, she tends to spawn further from the world center, between 3000 and 5100m. Her spawn points are spaced about 1000m apart, necessitating a broader search. The Valheim World Generator can expedite your search, but if you prefer a challenge, look for her in distant Meadows. A T-Shirt icon will appear on your map when you're 300-400m away, marking her location. Once found, building a portal is advisable for repeated visits.
Hildir specializes in clothing with various buffs, allowing you to customize your look without sacrificing performance. She also offers quests that lead you to new dungeons across different biomes, such as Smouldering Tombs in The Black Forest, Howling Caverns in Mountains, and Sealed Towers in The Plains. Completing these quests rewards you with chests that, when returned to Hildir, unlock new items in her shop with diverse effects.

How To Find The Bog Witch In Valheim (Swamp Merchant)
The Bog Witch, the newest addition to Valheim's traders, is located in the challenging Swamp biome. She spawns between 3000m and 8000m from the world center, with each possible spawn point 1000m apart. Given the difficulty of the Swamp, using the Valheim World Generator might be advisable. However, if you're up for the challenge, look for her Cauldron icon on the map as you approach. Once found, her location remains fixed, so bring materials to construct a portal.
The Bog Witch is a unique trader, a friendly Greydwarf with a magical Kvastur that maintains her hut and defends against enemies. Her hut offers a comfort level of 3, and her inventory includes items for cooking new types of food and crafting special meads.
