The Oasis of Douz

A fun, interactive musical app for all ages!

The story ‘The Oasis of Douz’ follows the adventurous journey of a cuckoo to North Africa, where he discovers amazing sights and experiences incredible events.

After getting injured, he begins to feel homesick and finally decides to return home.

On his way back, he joins a caravan, crosses the sea aboard a pirate ship to reach Europe, and travels through Spain and France. Once home, he decides to return every winter to Africa to relive those wonderful moments. And so, the cuckoo became a migratory bird.

At every stop on the traveler’s journey, the story is brought to life with local-style music. You’ll hear a desert caravan, a Spanish malagueña, a French musette, a wild boat ride, and much more…

Told with charm and warmth, ‘The Oasis of Douz’ showcases the unique spirit and musical styles of each region it highlights.
