Cities of the World Photo-Quiz

Test your knowledge in English! Guess all the famous cities of the world. How many can you identify correctly?

Look at pictures of iconic landmarks or skylines and try to name 220 of the world's most famous cities. Is it Houston, or could it be Dallas?

This free game features three challenging levels:

1) Cities 1 – Easier locations, including Sydney, Detroit, Cape Town, and other widely recognized cities.

2) Cities 2 – More challenging to guess, such as Casablanca, Calgary, or Antigua Guatemala.

3) Countries – Determine which country a given city is located in. For example, if you see Yokohama, the correct answer is Japan.

Select your preferred game mode:

* Easy Spelling Quiz: You won't get stuck if you're unsure—the app lets you guess each word letter by letter and instantly shows if the next letter is wrong! Cities are arranged in order of increasing difficulty. Find the first questions too easy? Simply advance to encounter much harder ones.

* Hard Quiz: Cities are presented in random order, and you won't know if your spelling for each letter is correct until you complete the entire word.

* Multiple-choice Questions: Choose from 4 or 6 answer options. Remember, you have only 3 lives.

* Time Game: Provide as many correct answers as you can within one minute. You need 25 correct answers to earn a star in this mode—challenging but achievable.

Two helpful learning tools are included:

* Flashcards: Browse all pictures, cities, and countries to see which ones you know well and which you need to review.

* Table of All Cities: A complete list of every city featured in the app.

The app is available in 30 languages, such as English, Japanese, Spanish, and many more—so you can learn city names in multiple languages.
