Leveling up now boosts your health instead of granting attribute points, and a new Souls system allows you to enhance your stats with collected Souls. However, losing a battle means losing all your Souls, though you'll retain your equipment and Mira.

Abyssal Souls also features an event-exclusive PvP system on the Annihilator's island, where free-for-all battles can lead to losing Souls or winning valuable loot. Success in this season earns you Spectral Shards, which you can spend on unique items and rewards.
