However, due to its high-performance demands, the overall experience may vary depending on your specific setup. A combination of different components can influence performance, including:

• Your mobile device
• The type of OBD-II ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB)
• Your vehicle’s OBD-II protocol
• The quality of your audio system

To ensure smooth operation, we recommend testing your current system configuration before diving into the full Potenza Drive experience. You can evaluate your setup using two dedicated communication tests:

TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION):

Simulates standard speed communication, ideal for checking basic compatibility with your system.

TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION):

Pushes your system to its limits with the fastest communication mode available. Please note that this test is only supported by vehicles equipped with advanced OBD-II protocols capable of handling high-speed data transfer.

For optimal results, use a vehicle that supports the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol — the only OBD-II standard capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second when paired with a high-quality OBD-II adapter. In contrast, older protocols may only provide as few as 4 parameters per second, which may result in reduced responsiveness and limited audio effects.
