A bus simulator with mods and expansive cities!

Welcome to Proton Bus Urbano!

This is the classic version, focused on urban buses for passenger transport within city limits. Originally released in 2017, it's been nearly five years! Our simulator has gained many new features throughout this time.

The bus modding system is now more sophisticated, supporting animations for buttons, rain effects, wipers, windows, and more. The community has already created hundreds of buses, with even more on the way!

We will release numerous new buses as mods soon, with several currently in development this year. Including every bus directly in the game would result in an enormous file size, and no one uses every vehicle... Therefore, the mod system lets you keep only your favorites, conserving storage. Older non-animated buses were not included in this edition; they will be re-released as mods in the coming months.

In 2020, we introduced a map modding system—a rare feature for mobile games! Map creation requires a computer, but finished maps can run on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.

The original routes remain available, but with a strong focus on custom map creation, they will soon become a thing of the past.

This simulator is FREE, with additional perks for PAID USERS. The free version is fully playable indefinitely; we do not seek payment just for the sake of it. Please pay only if you genuinely appreciate this project and understand its development journey. Paid users enjoy an ad-free experience and gain access to exclusive features like virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic speed maintenance), 360-degree screenshot capture, and more. Almost all other features are completely free, as are most buses.

This is more a simulator than a game. We don't focus on points, checkpoints, or other typical game elements. Simply choose your preferred bus and drive. As a complex simulator, it includes many controls and settings. We recommend watching an online video or tutorial before reporting issues, as most common problems are easily solved. For instance, press 'N' before selecting a gear to move the bus, and remember to release the parking brake. Some settings may cause unexpected behavior, so please read their descriptions carefully before enabling any specific option. Performance can also vary across devices.

The project is available for PC and Android. PCs typically offer better graphics quality due to their more powerful hardware. Numerous settings are adjustable to optimize performance. A modern mid-to-high-end device with ample RAM (preferably 4 GB or more) is recommended. If performance is poor on your device, try older versions or adjust the settings. There is a known issue with 64-bit Unity applications on Android; if you experience low framerates, try downloading the 32-bit APK from our website, which may sometimes run faster.

Our focus is shifting to core updates, particularly enhancing modding support. This simulator truly shines with mods—imagine it without them!

You can download mods by searching for "Proton Bus mods" or using the in-game button. Installation requires a file manager. Don't worry—the community is here to help.

Currently, advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, while basic functionality is checked on a J7 Prime. It is not suitable for older phones with less than 2 GB of RAM, but you may try it by manually installing the APK/OBB files, with no performance guarantee. Showcased screenshots were taken on a Galaxy J7 Prime using the "good settings" option.

* New mod installer! Mod installation is much easier now: after downloading the mod file, simply share or open it and select the game! This works for most buses and maps (only phase 3 maps are supported in this version).
* Shadow improvements (not perfect, but somewhat better).
* Added a button to disconnect and delete the premium account (as required by the platform).
