Russian scanwords represent a truly unique cultural phenomenon. No other language features such literary depth, humor, and contemporary context woven into traditional crossword puzzles. This reflects the Russian people's profound connection with language—they cherish words, honor their meaning, and treat language as their most valuable treasure.

Our application offers diverse scanwords—ranging from simple to complex, featuring photos, classic clues, and associative puzzles like "one word" or "two words" similar to Elder Fur's hints. Each magazine includes one English-Russian scanword and one "holey" puzzle (you'll quickly understand how it earned this name). Every page introduces you to members of our cheerful family—join us today!

All scanwords remain completely free for readers. This annual collection includes 52-53 issues with 20 scanwords each. The entire year's content occupies approximately 50 MB—featuring compact images and text-only content to preserve your phone's storage space.

Solve puzzles without internet connectivity once magazines are downloaded. New issues publish every Friday. With notifications enabled, you'll receive weekly reminders at 12:00 local time. The app automatically downloads new issues upon opening, avoiding duplicate downloads. You can also manually manage magazines through Settings—downloading or deleting individual issues, or updating all magazines with one tap.

Core features, including unlimited scanword access, remain completely free for readers. Advertising supports this model—featuring one narrow banner per page plus occasional interstitial ads before scanwords. These never interrupt your solving flow. Watching advertisers' videos even rewards you with free hints.

Readers can optionally disable advertising by: a) permanent ad removal, b) subscribing (removes ads and provides unlimited hints), or c) purchasing hint packages. All options are available in the Shop section.
