Build A Rocket Boy (BARB), MindsEye's developer, plans to revive the game under CEO Leslie Benzies' leadership. According to an IGN report dated July 4, Benzies addressed staff concerns during a July 2 video call, outlining strategies to overcome current setbacks.

The studio intends to address player grievances through extensive updates before re-releasing MindsEye. BARB's team pledged to resolve performance flaws and bugs that have marred gameplay since launch.

BARB recently deployed Update #3 as part of ongoing improvements. In a June 30 announcement, the studio confirmed the patch's console release, with PC implementation following shortly. Developers analyzed player data and feedback to identify critical issues requiring immediate attention.

Despite promised fixes, questions linger about BARB's ability to fulfill its content roadmap—featuring new quests, collaborations, and multiplayer features—given launch performance issues.
